Station 1 is the natural outdoor Educational
Amphitheater.

Station 2 is off the central portion of the
Boardwalk.

Station
3 is off the portion of the Boardwalk west of station 2.
This
pond has dense cattail stands and young alder trees around the edges.
Samples taken from this station included quite a bit of plant
material (old cattail fronds, for instance) and abundant insect larvae.
The vegetation here is delicate and we were careful to make as few
trips as possible into the wetland buffer to avoid trampling plants.

Station
4 is located in the pond east of the dead-end
street that extends from the Narbeck wetland parking lot.
The
pond receives stormwater via a culvert at its northern end.
Our sampling station is at the southern end of the pond not far
from the boardwalk.
